Why We Travel

Even now, I find it hard to believe The Happy Prince, by Oscar Wilde, is not set in a specific French city. I read it as a child and was sure I could go there one day and see the pillar the prince once sat atop, and watch the swallows. I traveled far and wide in France, and further, and think I saw little bits of it everywhere. But for now, here's the wonderful Stephen Fry reading the tale, in a shaky but moving little video from 2009.
