96368003

Zambia, Namibia, Botswana, oh my!

Lesbian-owned and lesbian-operated Wild Rainbow African Safaris leads an extraordinary tour to these top game-viewing countries -- along with Zimbabwe -- March 29 through April 8, 2011. You'll be in incredibly capable hands with owner and bush guide, Jody Cole, a passionate and knowledgeable expert in Africa and game viewing.

The objective of peace parks is to bring about sustainable economic development by way of eco-tourism to address poverty, using conservation as a land-use option. Previously proclaimed national boundaries cut across tribal and clan groupings as well as wildlife migration routes, fragmenting eco-systems and threatening biodiversity. The establishment of peace parks ensures that a high level of biodiversity is maintained through the joint management of these resources. Visit Wild Rainbow's website for more information about this initiative.

Please note: If you book by December 25, 2010,  take $250 off per person!

Itinerary

  • Days 1-2: Siankaba Lodge, Zambia
  • Days 3-4: Impalila Island Lodge, Namibia
  • Days 5-7: Linyanti Bush Camp, Botswana
  • Days 8-10: Solmalisa Camp, Zimbabwe
