Snow Birds Flock to Riviera Nayarit

Beautiful, less touristy, and abundant in natural beauty, gays aren't the only ones flocking to Puerto Vallarta's sister to the north.

For an entire week at the end of January, Riviera Nayarit is turning its attention towards nature with the celebration of the 7th annual Festival of Migratory Birds. The region, which is home to an impressive 80% of the Pacific migratory shore bird population, will offer bird enthusiasts the opportunity to experience insightful guided tours of this spectacular nature “show” during the much-anticipated festival. The festival will take place between January 23-30, 2011.
