Cesenatico
Gay-owned and managed Punk Domestics, the premier destination for DIY food enthusiasts, (and the brainchild of a former editor of this site), has announced their inaugural trip to Cesenatico, in Italy's culinary heartland, Emilia-Romagna.

The weeklong trip will include hands-on classes to learn how to make many traditional salumi such as salami, salsiccie, ciccioli, coppa di testa, pancetta and more. Later, participants will learn about preserving fish with vinegar, oil and salt methods.

On the final full day guests will make oninfusions, jams and savor, a local jam with fruits and nuts. In between will be trips to experience the splendor of Emilia-Romagna's rich culinary history, including one of Romagna's musei del gusto; Cesenatico's fish market along the harbor designed by Leonardo da Vinci; and of course Parma to see the production of Parmigiano-Reggiano and Modena to learn about traditional balsamico. All this for only $2,500.
