The Campiest, Dragiest Event of the Year

Gay Atlantic City - Miss'd America Pageant - Out in the AC
Miss America ain't got nothing on these ladies. In four short days, 14 contestants from Kentucky to NYC will take to the boardwalk to strut their stuff in the annual Miss'd America Pageant, all part of Atlantic City's Out in the AC weekend, January 21-22nd, sponsored by Caesers Entertainment Group.

Will it be Bootsie Lefaris or Tasha Salad? Chantel Rashae or Shi-Queeta-Lee?  Or local favorite Jason Cozmo to take the crown from 2011's winner the divine Kitty Hiccups (pictured above)? Think sequins. Think big hair. Think TALENT. Think a dragged up spoof and loving tribute, all a riot and awash in cocktails -- and all for charity.

"With the success of last year's pageant raising more than $30,000 for charity we are extremely excited to bring Miss'd America back with lavish sets, incredible production numbers featuring the lovely and talented Erika Schiff, along with the Miss'd America dancers, and even more contestants," said Richard Helfant, president of the Greater Atlantic City GLBT Alliance, organizers of the event.

Host Carson Kressley will rejoin the pageant in 2012 with special guest star Martha Wash (The Weather Girls), feature performer Erika Schiff, along with the Melanie Rice Orchestra. Full schedule of the weekend's events from club nights to bingo, below:
