Germany's greatest reunification since Berlin
Although we're not totally admitting to spending our youthful energies debating the dorky allure of Michael versus twink-tastic Justin (don't even get us started on Brian!) we're not going to deny it either. Not sure what we mean? Then this post isn't for you. But for those of you who were weened on Showtime's groundbreaking gay soap opera, Queer as Folk, and still think of Babylon whenever they enter an untsa-untsa gay club, take note: the ultimate QaF fan convention -- curiously named Rise'n' Shine -- is coming to Cologne, Germany this weekend.

Dear fans, visitors and interested guests,
Seven years after the end of the cult series “Queer As Folk”, for the first time a fan convention with all 9 main actors of the series will take place in Cologne from June, 8-10 2012 . This will be the greatest reunification of the actors since the series has been finished in 2005. On three days, rise’n shine Cologne 2012 offers different activities with the main actors of the series, which will be a special, close and individual experience. At activities such as panels, autograph signings, meet&greet with the stars, lectures, discussions as well as parties, fans and friends from all over the world can meet and exchange ideas. For many fans who know each other only through the internet, this will be the first occasion to meet each other in person.
Rise’n shine offers something for everybody, and Cologne as the centre of the fan convention will help. This city offers a lot of parallels to the show and one can experience the feeling of the series. Find out how the Liberty Streets comes alive in the so called Bermuda Triangle of Cologne.
