Sydney's new QT hotel has a hilarious new feature: its elevators play music that adjusts to the amount of people in the lift.

QT Sydney is one of the Australian city's newest hotels, taking over the historic Gowings and State Theatre buildings in the central business district. The property features modern art and interior design, digital art, and bold color strokes. But it also has a fun feature that's getting it attention around the globe.

QT's elevators have heat sensors that can detect how many people are in them. If it senses that a person is traveling alone, it plays songs like Elvis's "Are You Lonely Tonight?" or Eric Carmen's "All by Myself." Should another person hop on the lift, the music will adjust to different tunes, including "Just the Two of Us" by Bill Withers and "You've Got a Friend" by James Taylor. Get four people in the elevator and it's fiesta hour: everything from Prince's "1999" to Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" will get the party started. Watch the reaction of hotel guests below and click here for more information on QT Sydney.
