Residence Inn Hosting Twitter Event on LGBT Travel

Residence Inn by Marriott, the Family Equality Council, and the lesbian parenting site Mombian.com are teaming up for a Twitter chat on LGBT travel on November 6.
Mombian's Dana Rudolph will moderate the hour-long discussion, happening at 9 a.m. ET, while Family Equality Council's director of public policy, Emily Hecht-McGowan, will offer legal tips on traveling while LGBT.
Specific topics covered include:
-Legal and pratical aspects of traveling interstate and internationally
-General tips for hitting the road with kids in tow
-Extended stays out-of-state or internationally during an adoption process
Those interested can follow the conversation with the hashtags #RIFamily and #TMOM.
"Residence Inn is committed to finding new ways to support families and enhance their overall travel experience," Diane Mayer, vice president and global brand manager of Residence Inn, said in a statement. "This opportunity will provide access to expert resources, and prompt dialogue in the LGBT community, which is important as we continue to engage with and welcome our guests."
