The online booking site Hotwire launched a new series of TV commercials this week and one features preppy gay dads contemplating the importance of a good hotel.
The 30-second spot is called "Lucky Me" (you'll see why) and "documents Dave and Alex’s personal experience through their apprehensions about blind booking to their joy of getting the very best deal for their individual trip," according to a Hotwire press release. The new ads are meant to counter "gimmicky" travel ads and coincide with a redesign of Hotwire's website and mobile apps. Watch below:
