PHD Rooftop Terrace Goes Hygge for the Holidays

The rooftop venue takes on the Danish wellness concept for the holidays.

New York's nightlife scene is one of the best in the world. And with a beautiful skyline, its rooftop bars are the place to be during the summer.

But one rooftop bar is keeping things warm during the winter. PHD Rooftop Terrace at Dream Midtown is getting in the holiday spirit with the Hygge. The cozy haven is modeled after the Danish wellness concept of the same name, which was created to fight the winter blues.

The hygge motif is captured at PHD with birch tree branches, holly berry wreathes, and winter garland, all illuminated under warm candlelight. The concept is complemented with chunky cable knit blanket and pillows, creating a warm and stylish oasis for New Yorkers to escape the harsh winter of the city. A festive and irresistible holiday menu features a giant oozy wheel of brie, a s'more skillet with graham cracker spoons, and a boozy hot chocolate to get anyone in the holiday spirit.
