Trina, Controversial Rapper Headline Gay Men of Color Party

"California's largest & sexiest gay & bisexual men of color getaway," known as Blatino Oasis, touches down in Palm Springs May 2-4.

Organizers announced rapper Trina will headline the event — performing on Saturday at the Canyon Conference Center — with gay rapper Fly Young Red ("Throw That Boy Pu**y") and out comedian Sampson McCormick rounding out the entertainment. A welcome reception, two dance parties, a brunch, and film screenings are all part of the happenings. The clothing-optional La Joya hotel serves as host lodging.

"Before Blatino Oasis, annual gatherings targeting gay men of color in Palm Springs never gained an audience," event producer Joe Hawkins said in a release. "Blatino Oasis is the first to successfully bring gay men of color together on an annual basis in Palm Springs and has grown to become the largest annual event targeting gay men of color in California."
