For the full gay British experience, you need look no further than Brighton. Set along the coast just an hour's journey south from London, with its exhaustive LGBT scene, it's well deserving of the "gay capital" of the United Kingdom accolade. Every year, the sunny streets play host to the largest LGBT Pride in the country. This year, for the 25th anniversary of Brighton Pride, the police took an unusually colorful step in order to demonstrate their committment to the community.

The Sussex Police vehicles taking part in the parade were lavishly adorned with rainbow stickers, at the cost of roughly $350 in total. Posted to the official Susses Police Facebook page, the photos were captioned: "We're all ready for the 25th Brighton Pride celebrations tomorrow! We’ll be in the parade, as well as having a stall in the park. Please do give us a wave and come and say hi."

It's no wonder the LGBT community feels so at home in Brighton.
