Cabo Resort Hosts Havana-style New Year's Eve

For the New Year’s Eve on La Playita guests can dance the night into 2023 with celebratory treats like hand-rolled cigars, special aged rum and tequila cocktails, bottle service and a champagne toast at midnight.

New Year’s Eve performance at Chileno Bay’s beach will feature Buena Vista Social Club, the iconic Cuban Orquesta. The band is marking the end of a tour and this will be their only performance in North America.

COMAL

Chileno Bay Resort's signature restaurant, COMAL is a three-tiered open-air space designed by Gulla Jonsdottir Architecture + Design, which mirrors the contemporary design aesthetic of the resort and showcases the destination's spectacular ocean views.

Guests of Chileno Bay can celebrate the last night of the year at one of Los Cabos’ most coveted tables, COMAL, for a five-course paired experience ($275 per person) by Chef Yvan Mucharraz.

Another dinner option is at the resort’s restaurant, YAYA, which debuted earlier this year. The three-course menu ($225 per person) will include cocktail pairings.

COMAL is helmed by Chef Yvan Mucharraz, alum of The French Laundry and L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon restaurants in Yountville, California and Paris. He has earned a reputation for contemporary Mexican cuisine with an international character influenced by his travels through Brazil, Peru and elsewhere in Latin America.
