Walt loved gay pool parties, right?

With Halloween, October is always a great time to visit Disneyland. But this autumnal month is also when Gay Days Anaheim is staged, a three-day smorgasbord of events that range from wild to tame, and with everything in between. No one is left out of the fun: parents, kids, ladies, and bears all have parties and gatherings geared just for them (everyone should be wearing red though, as is the tradition). Here are the events we won't be missing on Friday and through the weekend:

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3

An Intimate Conversation with Disney Legend Bob Gurr

Nothing Like a Dame: A Chat About Broadway Divas
Buyer & Cellar star Michael Urie leads a discussion with Queens in the Kingdom co-author Eddie Shapiro on Broadway superstars like Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, and Angela Lansbury — Shapiro spoke to all those ladies, and more, for his new book, Nothing Like a Dame: Conversations with the Great Women of Musical Theater.
