Tune in this week as Black LGBTQ+ creatives discuss Hollywood, Black athestics, sex, and the importance of joy.
Lambda LitFest is going all virtual, making 2020 the first year that it can be experienced live by those outside of Los Angeles. The LGBTQ+ book festival (October 5-9, 2020) is sponsored by Lambda Literary, the organization that supports queer authors and books.
The fourth annual event's theme is celebrating and defending Black LGBTQ+ lives, and it will feature over 20 queer writers of color in conversations on their craft, finding joy in times of crisis, and how to dismantle a white supremacist, ableist, cisgender, heteronormative world.
Here's a run down on the week's events. Lambda LitFest events are free, but registration is required. Events will take place over Zoom and include ASL interpretation.
