The Abbey’s Drag Brunch Returns Saturday as Online Event

Los Angeles’s queer institution the Abbey Food & Bar has relaunched its incredibly popular drag shows, Monday Night Lip Service and Saturday Drag Brunch, as virtual events.

Hosted by a variety of RuPaul’s Drag Race stars and local West Hollywood queens whose banter, sassiness, and over-the-top performances are legendary, the weekly events are now open to anyone, anywhere — for free!

On the Abbey’s Facebook page, viewers can tune in and catch live behind-the-scenes action while having the opportunity to get to know their favorite queens. 

So pour your bottomless mimosas and settle in Saturday at 1 p.m. Pacific to watch #AbbeyQuarantine Home Edition live Drag Brunch online.  Hosted by Mayhem Miller from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10, the pre-Easter show will feature performances by Calypso Jete, Jordan Jayro, Barbie’s Addiction, and Beverly Lux.

This is a fabulous opportunity to experience one of L.A.’s seminal queer events — without having to be in Southern California or fight the traffic.

Although joining in the fun is free, tipping is highly encouraged via the queens’ social media accounts.
