One of the biggest highlights of San Diego's Barrio Logan neighborhood is its amazing collection of public art, particularly in Chicano Park, where even the freeway overpasses arcing overhead are drapped in luscious Latinx and Indigenous-themed murals. The barrio’s Mexican roots and Chicano/Chicana (aka Mexican-American) culture permeate the art as well, and much of it speaks of past political movements and struggles of the area’s immigrants, farm workers, and Indigenous communities.
