Naked Man in Bathroom Forces Alaskan Airlines to Return to Airport

And he wasn't trying to join the mile-high club.

Here's an easy lesson: don't get naked on your next flight and lock yourself in a bathroom, you will almost certainly get arrested. This scenario just took place aboard an Alaskan Airlines flight just after takeoff. A man decided that the flight from Anchorage to Seattle was no time for clothes and stripped down to his birthday flying suit and locked himself in the bathroom. Police and Fire Sgt. Darcey Perry told KTVA TV that the plane returned to Anchorage and police were ready to take action at around 3 a.m.

“There was a subject on the aircraft that had barricaded or locked himself in the bathroom, the lavatory,” Perry said. “Flight attendants did find that the subject was naked.”

To not distress passengers any further, Perry was yanked out of the bathroom and brought out the back door, according to onboard sources.

A teacher on the plane said that other men stood up to prevent other passengers from seeing the man full frontal, but the plane was abuzz with the stripped-down incident. They heard that "...he had taken off his clothes and he just wasn't in his right mind."

Passengers re-boarded the plane at 6:30 a.m., and there has been no word on the man's mental state or whether the airline will press charges.
