United Airlines Announces New Domestic Premium Class

After a rough few weeks for United, the airline is hoping to put its dead-dog tragedy behind them (after they finish an investigation) by slowly announcing its 2018 plans. Later this year, the airline is expected to begin to roll out their United's Premium Plus. The new fare will include more space and more amenties. It will also include upgraded dining on china dinnerware, free alcoholic beverages, a Saks Fifth Avenue blanket and pillow, an amenity kit, and more.

More details of the product will begin rolling out this year, according to United's President Scott Kirby. “We are working on ways to even have a premium economy product in the domestic market and look forward to announcing that if we can get to a great product at some point,” he said.

If this product rolls out, United will have five different fares from basic economy to lie-flat business.
