A new survey finds the Mile High Club is a very exclusive organization.
Tech travel company Switchfly asked over 2,000 adults if they've ever gotten busy on a plane and only 4 percent responded positively. Six percent of men said they were part of the Mile High Club, while only two percent of women said they've done the deed (this must mean that gay men make up a big chunk of the MHC, right?).
Men in their thirties and fourties were the most likely to be club members, while women in their fourties and fifties were the most popular lady bracket to know the pleasure.
While a quarter of respondents said they've never joined the club but would be willing to if an opportunity arose, plenty of folks said the idea of a sex in a tiny, germ-filled lavatory was disgusting. Fifty-six percent of respondents said they had absolutely no interest in sex on a plane, either because airplane bathrooms are too small, too dirty, or the act is too hard to accomplish without getting caught or it's simply beneath their dignity.
