The little gay club that could, even when the city's gay street Reguliersdwarsstraat was pretty much closed down, Club Roque was one of the few remaining gay places to go to. And now that it's back in action, the bar continues to be popular, especially during Weijland/The G-Team's party Mayonaise Speciaal, held every last Friday of the month. "Sometimes they go on longer than their official opening hours... just don't tell the police."
