San Francisco, Calif. - Airbnb, the marketplace for travelers in need of a home away from home, has created “moments of welcome” around San Francisco as part of its grand sponsorship (for the second year) of the city’s Pride festivities this coming weekend. As part of the initiative, Airbnb has created a mobile pop-up “Welcome Wagon” (pictured above) that will travel through the city’s various neighborhoods encouraging visitors to try their hands at some DIY activities as well as a community art installation.
Miami, Fla. - Because it's Pride month and marriage equality is now nationwide, the Conrad Miami has put together a special “It’s About Time” package for LGBT couples who need some QT. Valid for stays through December 31, 2015 (with some blackout dates), the package includes two-night deluxe accommodations, an intimate chef’s menu dinner at the hotel’s Atrio Restaurant and Wine Room, two passes to the Hilton Bentley Beach Club and half off a couples massage at their spa.
Long Beach, Calif. - Similarly, in light of today's Supreme Court ruling in favor of gay marriage, the Hotel Maya is offering a $540 #LoveWins Walk-In Wedding Package that includes use of the outdoor ceremony space with seating for up to ten, an on-site officiant, marriage license services, flowers for the couple, a celebratory lunch or dinner in their restaurant Fuego and more.
