Madame Tussauds, the global leader in celebrity wax sculptures (yeah, thatās a thing) has revealed one of their biggest creations at their Las Vegas location. Miley Cyrusās likeness from her much-discussed video for āWrecking Ballā has been immortalized in wax. No, itās not from the part where sheās naked, or that other part when she was licking that sledgehammer. Itās just the part where she was gliding around the room on top of said wrecking ball.
The sculpture stands more than 10-feet tall at the tallest point from the bottom of the ball to Cyrusā head, took six months to make, and weighs over 200 pounds. After sculpting the figure in clay, then casting it in plaster, then filling the mold with wax, Cyrus is suspended from a crane in front of the Venetian Hotel and Casino, and will eventually become a permanent fixture in the Music Room of Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.Ā
In case you somehow can't recall the imagery, rewatch the video below:Ā
