Thousands of thrill-seekers braved L.A. rush hour traffic for the LGBT night at Six Flags Magic Mountain, 30 miles north of Los Angeles.

One of the country's biggest amusement parks was overrun by gays on Friday, at the sixth Out on the Mountain event at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, Calif. The private party raises money for local LGBT charities, allows attendees to act like kids again, as well as kiss and hold hands sans stares.

Weather Girl Martha Wash headlined the gathering, with DJs Ray Rhodes and SRO, Leaux, Ingenue, and Drag Race star Laganja Estranja providing back-up. The biggest stars may have been Magic Mountain's 18 insane roller coasters, though. Attendees took full advantage of the minimal lines, queuing up for monsters like X2, Apocalypse, Superman: Escape from Krypton, and Riddler's Revenge (Magic Mountain is also the home of now-shuttered wooden roller coaster that just caught fire). This writer was reeling after a spin on Tatsu, the world's tallest, fastest, and longest flying coaster, where riders hang by their backs in zero gravity. Check out some images from Out on the Mountain below. Photos by Robbie X Pierce.
