If trying to escape from a locked room sounds like an evening of fun and not the relived nightmare of the summer after sophomore year when you joined that cult, then Escape Room LA is for you. A live-action version of apps like Fireproof Games “The Room” series, Escape Room LA offers two distinct experiences — The Detective, a 1940s themed mystery; and their recently-devised newest puzzle, the Cavern — where up to 12 guests must solve a series of complex puzzles in less than an hour in order to earn their freedom. (And, just to give you perspective on the level of difficulty, only 35 of 355 groups passed the Detective room.)
