New York City Discovered: Tahitian Coffee (For Two) at Slowly Shirley

For your next Manhattan visit, try this twist on a French-Polynesian treat.

We’re gaga for the “Tahitian Coffee (For Two)” at the subterranean cocktail bar Slowly Shirley in Manhattan’s West Village (hidden in the basement space of the super popular hangout The Happiest Hour). The recipe for the stunner cocktail for two is below, and it’s served in a Chemex coffeemaker. It’s a whopping $35, so savor that buzz. Or make it at home. SlowlyShirley.com
