Sex and the City Live! Returns to SF

With the summer's news filled with horrifying stories of war and terrorism, a drag send-up of campy, punny Sex and the City is just what the doctor ordered.

San Francisco's Victoria Theatre hosts the return, three-week engagement of SATC Live!, which stars Heklina as sex columnist/shoe fetishist Carrie Bradshaw. Her unlucky-in-love girlfriends are attorney/ballbuster Miranda Hobbes (played by Lady Bear), uptown prude Charlotte York (Alaska Thunderfuck from RuPaul's Drag Race), and publicist extraordinaire/unapologetic slut Samantha Jones (D'Arcy Drollinger, who also directs). The live act satorizes two episodes, so who knows if they'll take on funky spunk or "He's just not that into you."

SATC Live! starts its engagement Thursday night and wraps August 10. Click here for tickets and info.
