They're two of the biggest festivals of the year... but how are they different?

Every year, ravers around the world back buy new outfits, back their bags, and head to the Electric Daisy Carnival.

Considered the largest electronic dance music festival in North America, EDC takes place in two cities every year... Las Vegas and Orlando.

Between Sin City and the Sunshine State, music lovers have two exciting options to grab their festie besties and dance the night away.

The facts are the facts... there is really no experience like attending EDC Las Vegas.

Some highlights include an epic firework display, DJs flying into their sets via helicopter, nine unbelievable stages playing electrifying music, and ravers dancing until 5:30 in the morning. You read that right.

That barely scratches the surface of what EDC in Las Vegas has to offer. Add on carnival rides, karaoke bars, multiple dance floors, special areas where couples can get legally married, VIP areas that have salons, concierge, private bathrooms... it just goes on and on.

Plus, there's plenty of relaxation areas for the ravers who need a break. Taking place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, music lovers can relax on the bleachers and enjoy the sights and sounds without being in the heart of the crowd.

Add on to the fact that you're in Sin City after all, so the city never sleeps. Head downtown or back to The Strip where clubs are still going, people are brunching, and there's gambling happening all day and all night.

EDC Las Vegas is definitely not for the faint of heart. The best thing to do ahead of the festival is to visit the official website and read up on everything you need to know before heading off to the desert next May.

Fun fact: last year saw over half a million people attend EDC Las Vegas, so get ready to make some new friends.

On the other side of the country, hundreds of thousands of EDM lovers attend EDC Orlando.

Although it may be smaller than its Sin City counterpart, the Florida festival certainly has plenty to look forward to.

With five stages, tons of tasty food options, countless photo ops, and a few heart-racing rides as well, this festival is the perfect one to attend for a first-timer.

Since EDC Orlando has a bit of a more intimate feeling than EDC Las Vegas, it's easier to get around and not as hectic when trying to find some peacefulness in all of the fun.

Plus, EDC Orlando has much better cell service than EDC Las Vegas since it takes place in the heart of downtown Orlando at Tinker Field.

The weather is also unbeatable as ravers get to jump from set to set in mid November while the majority of other places are dealing with frigid temperatures as winter rolls in.

During their set at EDC Orlando 2023, The Chainsmokers even said that EDC Orlando was better than EDC Las Vegas, so it's up for you to decide which suits your fancy.

Happening next November, get all of the info on EDC Orlando on the official website here. Happy raving!
