Looking to rent an apartment? One decent three-star-level studio option, Parismarais (from 180 EUR a night to 500 EUR per week and up) offers a small selection of romantic flats, all located in le Marais, directly from their owners. The flats are well equipped, come with a courtyard view and are within walking distance of gay businesses. There is a four-night rental minimum and maximums can vary based on the landlord.

GoGay Paris (646-810-8652 from the United States, or +33-1-76-60-71-25; from 125 EUR a night) is a gay luxury apartment rental service based started by a group that had great success with a similar business based in Barcelona. They have over 80 apartments to choose from on their well-designed website, with photos and descriptions of each location. The level of customer service is excellent. There is a two-night minimum to stay in one of these apartments.

Gay Accommodation Paris (271, rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine, 11e; +33-1-43-48-13-82; jfropero@club-internet.fr) is a gay-oriented vacation rental service that has six different apartments in diverse locations across Paris. Gay-owned and operated, it is administered by Jean-Fran?ois Ropero, who politely and helpfully will get you situated in Paris and point you in the right direction of whatever you need; be it la Tour Eiffel or the closest bar homo!

RothRay (10, rue Nicolas Flamel; +33-1-48-87-13-37) is a gay-owned and gay-managed agency with 20 apartments in the Marais and Les Halles, and the very best customer service and rental policies. You can't do better, but you'll need plenty of lead time, as they are often booked months in advance. Rates depend on the square meterage of the apartment, with a one-week minimum. Lodgis (+33-1-70-39-11-11) is an agency that rents out apartments in every quarter of Paris (as well as New York City, the French Riviera, and Marrakech). They are gay-friendly and have apartments (furnished and unfurnished) available from a few days to a whole year.
