How much is it really?
I was listening to Derek and Romaine today and I didn't not have an opportunity to call in before your segment was over. I have what I'm sure is a really stupid question regarding cruises and their pricing. My question is that the prices on the Web site lists an ocean view state room at $1499 (for example). Is this the price per person or for the room. The Web site lists the pricing based on double occupancy. My partner and I are considering going on a cruise but can't picture spending over $3000 (after tax, port fees, and whatever else is not included) if the price is per person. Thanks and I always love your segment on DnR.
Thanks for your question. No such thing as a stupid question, especially with respect to fees relating to travel. For tour operators, costs are usually per person. In this case, that is also true. Check out the ol? fine print at the bottom of their page.
ā€¢ All rates are per person based on double occupancy.
