London by Royals

Following on the well-treaded heels of our London by Locals posting, a fun London trip came across our desk. This one, however, is better suited to treads of the well-heeled variety. This is the Royal Opera House of London burning its impressive Rolodex to package a week of high society, social dress-up for Americans.
From May 18th to 25th, guests flit from Lady so-and-so's private, historic castle through the blueblood-studded Gala of the Chelsea Flower Show and an exclusive reception at the US Ambassador's house. Crowning the week, so to speak, the Queen mother's nephew hosts a gallery tour of Royal-made art.
At the top of my list, though, would be occupying the best seats in the Opera House at the personal request of its Executive Director. Hanging out with the dancers of the Royal Ballet is a close second.
As only the British could, they've gone and named this The Ultimate House Party.
