A Snazzy iPhone App for Out Travelers

OutIphone
Story by Ed Salvato

Granted we're biased, but our parent publication Out magazine offers an iPhone app that's pretty cool, and we're gay travelers who really use these things. Plus, sharing is caring.

So, check out the Out magazine City Guides, which serve up expert opinions (right on your phone) of the best gay bars, dining establishments, boutiques, clubs, and hotel options in your area. In the words of the app creators, "Out's intel comes from each city's top party hounds, retail therapists, and gastronomic elites."

From the hottest parties to the chillest lounges, Out provides the most extensive guides to great gay places. the Out iPhone was launched with New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, but they've already added several new cities, including Berlin, Boston, Buenos Aires, Chicago, London, Miami, Montreal, Paris, and Shanghai. The information is constantly updated.

Geo-targeting services allow you to search for the newest and best Out-selected restaurants, bars, clubs, shopping, and hotels near you. Or, use the featured lists and guides to create a privately curated tour of the greatest cities in the world. Click here for a preview of the app.
