The gay-friendly folks at VisitSweden, along with the Stockholm Gay & Lesbian Network and the ICEHOTEL and SAS Scandinavian Arlines, have launched an exciting social media campaign called Love is in the Air, which went live last week.

SAS wants to be the first airline to have a same-sex marriage up in the air. They just need two lucky grooms or brides, one pair from Sweden, the other from the U.S. On a New York-bound flight on December 6, 2010, one lucky Swedish couple will wed in the air. On a Stockholm-bound flight from New York the following day, SAS and its partners will provide a U.S. couple with a wedding and honeymoon experience in Sweden, which has allowed same-sex marriage since May 2009.

The two U.S. brides (or grooms) will fly with an all-gay crew will fly to Sweden, then they'll be Ice whisked to the ICEHOTEL -- the world's largest hotel made primarily of ice and snow -- in northern Sweden for the wedding and first two nights of their cool honeymoon.
