White Party -- kicking off Thursday -- is known for it's big dance parties loaded with shirtless men, but this year's event also promises a side of activism.
On Friday, April 8th, Adam Bouska’s NOH8 Campaign will be set up in the Renaissance Hotel so that Palm Springs residents and White Party attendees can get their pictures taken. The shoot is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM and will continue until at least 5:00 PM, but if there's a line Brouska promises to stay late.
This event was put together thanks to White Party organizer Jeffrey Sanker, Bouska, and his partner Jeff Parshley.
To join the NOH8 Campaign, just arrive wearing a plain white shirt or tank top to match the look of the signature photos (see above). Solo NOH8 photos are $40 each, while any group or couple photos are $25 for each person in the photo. These are tax deductible donations and the money will be used to raise awareness for marriage equality and anti-discrimination.
A digital copy of your photo will be retouched to give the image that stylized look, and will then be available for download at NOH8Campaign.com.
