'Alexa, order a bottle of bubbly.'

"Alexa, can I order room service?" this is just one of the many questions that guests will soon be able to ask their Alexa for Hospitality–enabled device in their hotel rooms.

The Internet giant made the announcement today that Alexa will soon be in hotels, vacation rentals, and other hospitality locations.

No more outdated phones to use hotel amenities. By this summer, you'll be able to use the in-room Echo devices, and simply ask Alexa to order room service, request housekeeping, or call the concierge for dinner recommendations.

Alexa for Hospitality will have a ton of features and here are just a few:

“Alexa, call the spa,” “Alexa, I need a tooth brush,” “Alexa, what can I do around here?,” “Alexa, order room service.”

Hotel rooms will become smart "homes" by allowing guests to also voice-activate in-room devices like the lights, curtains, and TV.

Guests can experience Alexa for Hospitality at a variety of properties starting this summer at select hotels: Marriott, Westin, St. Regis, Aloft, and Autograph Collection Hotels. The experience will also be available in boutique properties including Thompson Hotels, Joie de Vivre, Destination Hotels, and Alila as well as vacation rental properties from RedAwning.
