Every four years, thousands of LGBT athletes from around the globe gather together to compete in a true spirit of inclusiveness at the World OutGames. In 2017, the Games come to the United States for the first time from Friday, May 26 through Sunday, June 4, 2017. The 10-day event will see more than 450 events in 34 different sports including those you expect (swimming, diving, tennis, wrestling, track and field, etc.) and a few you wouldn't (dominos, chess, cheer and darts, for instance.)
Athletes over 18 years of age (of any sexual orientation) who wish to participate can register online now at outgames.org. In fact, anyone who registers prior to September 1, 2016 will save $100.
