The sad and scary state of affairs for LGBT people in Jamaica is chronicled in a new video from Human Rights Watch.
American gays often hear about the horrific homophobia that exists in the nation of peace-loving Bob Marley, but this video, via Towleroad, brings it home. Gay people in Jamaica are dealing with a society and government that shuns and condones violence against them, leading youth to live in sewers and others to seek asylum in nations like Canada.
