Androgynous Model Rain Dove Stages Gender Demonstrations in North Carolina

Although southern states have pulled out all the stops to make their LGBT citizens feel unwelcome, one visitor confronts the matter head-on. Rain Dove, an androgynous, gender non-conforming model recently paid a visit to North Carolina to tackle the state's controversial HB2, the so-called "bathroom bill." Rain spoke with politicians and even staged public protests to raise awareness of the bill's oppressive nature.

"On our visit to the legislature we spoke with Senator Paul Lowe Jr., a Democrat who walked out on the passing of this bill and declared that likely none of the Senate actually knows the difference between gender and sex."

Rain is raising awareness on social media with the hashtag, #EducateDontHate.
