Andy Cohen was hoping to start his relaxing trip to Nice, France, but his flight last night got a little backed up.
The Watch What Happens Live host and his friend Bruce Bozzi were aboard a Delta Airlins flight that had to turn around half-way through the trip over the Atlantic after the plane's toilets broke. Instead of continuing on to France, the airline returned to JFK in New York to get the toilets repaired. According to passengers, the airline claimed, it would be cheaper to do so in New York rather than France.
“How’s this? We were two hours outside of Europe, somebody pooped or put something down the toilet that it didn’t go and broke the toilets. We had to turn around to fix the f—— toilet.”
Cohen added: “To the person on the Delta flight to Nice that put a foreign object down the toilet … tell me who you are because we’re going to find you … I think they should sacrifice themselves at the beginning of the flight.”
The nightmare scenerio showed that in the time it took the flight to return, it could have already landed in France.
The two stayed in New York overnight and returned to JFK in the morning for another flight.
Cohen oked this morning: “Here we go again,
“The captain made a compassionate and informed welcome speech!” Cohen said in an update on Instagram Story. “There is a passenger with a severe nut allergy onboard! So do not come near this plane if you are enjoying nuts!”
The Daily Mail received the following statement from Delta: "The flight landed without incident and the aircraft proceeded to the gate for maintenance inspection. Customers have been re-accommodated on an alternate flight and were offered a gesture of service recovery for the disruption to their travel."
