Boeing's 787-9 Dreamliner jet is a thing of beauty. The airplane is both energy-efficient and sleek, managing to get nearly vertical seconds after take-off (see video below).
The Chicago-based company unveiled the Dreamliner at an air show in England recently — they already have hundreds of orders for the plane. Aside from better fuel consumption, the 787-9 features higher ceilings and luggage bins that allow more bags than conventional planes. Filters remove offensive odors on-board, while bigger windows turn transparent, opaque, and somewhere in between to adjust to day and night.
