Brooklyn-Bound Girls Bus Tour Being Floated

A New York-based tour company is considering launching a bus tour based on HBO's millennial hipster hit Girls.
On Location Tours is in discussions with the cable channel to launch a tour that would visit places like Cafe Grumpy in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood, where Lena Dunham's Hannah and Alison Williams's Marnie steamed milk and wiped counters. The Brooklyn romp would also swing by the Bushwick warehouse where Zosia Mamet's Shoshanna character accidentally smoked crack and temporarily went nuts. Hannah's apartment on India Street in Greenpoint could also be included, as well as Hannah's favorite bar, the Weather Up.
Maybe the most glamorous stop on the un-glamourous trip would be the Gawker offices on Elizabeth Street in Manhattan's Nolita neighborhood, where Hannah interned during the first season. Here's hoping the clubs featured in the legendary second season episode, where Hannah and her gay ex-boyfriend Elijah (out actor Andrew Rannells) did cocaine and danced all night, get a shout-out, as well as the Long Island house where the girls partied with Elijah's gay posse.
A final route for the tour should be chosen this summer; read more here. We're still waiting for a San Francisco tour based on HBO's gay dramedy Looking.
