I am booked on the final transatlantic crossing of the Queen Elizabeth 2 in October. We dock in Southampton on Oct. 22, 2008. I plan on spending the rest of the week in London, then would like to spend time in Paris and Amsterdam. I am looking for information on the trains. I would not be opposed to a package that would include hotels in London, Paris and Amsterdam as well as the transportation between each city.
I would recommend looking at RailEurope.com, an excellent, comprehensive site where you can shop for tickets on the Eurostar from London to Paris, book high speed TGV trains, and buy Rail Passes (often a better deal if traveling to two or more countries.)

A return train trip from London to Paris on the Eurostar in October costs from $166 per person, from $290 first class (2.5 hours). Prices have not yet been released for Paris to Amsterdam trains in October, but for a similar trip in September, prices start at $370 (4 hours).

Find somewhere special to stay in London, Paris, and Amsterdam with an Out Traveler guide.
