Okay, we'll be the first to admit we've got ourselves a Canadian fetish. And what's not to like? A committment to diversity? Check. A quirky accent? Check. Being genuinely friendly? Check, check and check. (Ok, maybe that last one comes from too many years living in NYC).
But lately, it's also because Canada's gay scene has become so damn cool, and we can flex our passport without spending an enternity flying. And we're not talking about la vie in Montreal. These days Toronto is where it's at. Local lust-object Owen Pallett piqued our interest with his picks of the city, so much so we had to check it out for ourselves in our 2010 Romantic Travel guide.
