Queer collectives to take over warehouse in Miami
Red Bull is putting on a 12-hour warehouse party on October 5 called Swetboxx which is being headlined by Mykki Blanco. It's dedicated to promote inclusion and help tell the stories of queer culture in Miami.
Miami's Queer Collectives have joined forces to create a first-of-its-kind event experience where inclusion, individuality, and sweat reign supreme. The collectives consist of NAAFI, Papijuice, Discwoman + local collectives Internet Friends, Space Tapes, Fempower, and Catwalk
Miami isn't really known for this scene and is looking to prove its place in the national queer scene by hosting collectives from NY and LA showing them how its done while at the same time giving the Miami locals an opportunity to vibe and dance to acts that rarely come south of Atlanta.
The current line up includes: Mykki Blanco, Quay Dash, DJ Haram, Ariel Zetina, Lao, Debit, Oscar Nn, Adam R, Bronze Goddezz + local djs- Gami, Nar, Gooddroid, Bonnie Beats, Get Face, Nigby, Loka, and Sel
Interactive Art Installations by Aileen Quintana (Haiiileen), Veronica Gessa (Mokibaby), Anthony Villasmil (Sleeper), and D’ana Nunez (COVL).
