After White Party Palm Springs was rescheduled from this month to September, founder Jeffrey Sanker announced recently that the legendary circuit party will take place during Halloween 2021.
The multiday bacchanal is now set to begin October 29 and conclude the morning of November 1. "DJ Lineup and Tickets on sale very soon," the White Party website reads. "Our goal is to bring back a fresh new GRAND White Party Experience, so we are thrilled to introduce an all-new 3 day White Party Halloween Festival."
White Party Palm Springs, which draws tens of thousands to the California desert and is known as the largest U.S. circuit event, was reduced to a two-day digital event last April because of the COVID pandemic. Consisting of dances, pool parties, and musical performances from pop stars like Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez, the White Party is not only a cash cow for the Palm Springs area, but also raises money for LGBTQ+ and HIV charities.
Sanker received condemnation late last year when he hosted a gay New Year's Eve party in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, and reportedly informed patrons to not post photos or videos on social media, ostensibly because it was taking place during a surge in COVID cases and deaths. Mexican officials did inform the Washington Blade that the event did not break local laws or health protocols.
