You may know Tommy Bahama from its breezy button-ups and beach chairs. But now, the lifestyle brand is opening a resort.
In late 2023, the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa plans to debut in Indian Wells, California.
In partnership with real estate developer Lowe, the Miramonte Resort & Spa will get a full Tommy makeover. But don’t worry, the resort will stay open during the transformation.
“This is a natural progression of the Tommy Bahama brand,” said Doug Wood, CEO of Tommy Bahama. “We have been talking about the idea of a Tommy Bahama resort for decades and believe that our brand’s aesthetic, successful $100 million food and beverage business, and guest feedback support our brand’s evolution into new areas of the hospitality industry.”
“Our unique approach to elevated yet relaxed service is ideal for resorts and delivering our brand of hospitality,” said Rob Goldberg, Tommy Bahama’s EVP of Resorts, Restaurants, and Bars. “To have the opportunity to deliver those experiences in a resort setting gives us a much broader canvas to paint on as we create new experiences for our guests.”
The resort will boast 215 rooms, including 23 suites and 35,000 square feet of meeting space. There will be three pools, an indoor/outdoor restaurant, a Tommy Bahama retail boutique, and a 12,000-square-foot spa.
Tommy Bahama already has a well-established presence in Coachella Valley. The Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar, and Store in Palm Desert opened in 1998, followed by the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar in Palm Springs in 2018.
The Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa promises to be the perfect destination for vacations, retreats, and weddings. More info at tommybahama.com.
