Adele Announces North American Tour
The tour, in support of her 25 album, is the singer's first in five years.
Adele put the music world in yet another tizzy this morning by announcing her North American tour dates.
The tour, in support of her record-breaking #1 album, 25, is British singer's first in five years. It kicks off July 5 in St. Paul, MN, and features multiple dates in major cities including a six-day run at Los Angeles' Staples Center.
The tour follows dates in U.K. and Europe, which quickly sold out.
Adele's last U.S. tour was cut short as the 27-year-old singer battled laryngitis and a vocal cord infection, which eventually required surgery.
But she's now in fine form again, as evidenced by her recent critically acclaimed performance at Radio City Music Hall in New York, her first full concert in more than four years.
Fans can tune into NBC at 10 p.m. tonight to catch excerpts of that show in the hour-long Adele Live In New York City special.
Tickets for the new dates go on sale Thursday at 10a.m. local time via Adele's web site.
