Celebrating their 35th anniversary of lesbian cruises this year, Olivia is doing what they are usually really good about doing anyway: giving back to women while offering a rollicking good time on the high seas.

Departing for one week on March 30th on the lovely ms Westerdam -- no "h" here -- with 1,800 women on board, the Cruise for a Cause ship is hitting the coral reefs in Mexico's Cozumel island, the beaches of the Turks and Caicos islands, and the snorkeling off Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman before landing at Olivia private island, Half Moon Cay.

Back on deck, Olivia will be running seminars about the latest advances and projects in breast cancer research, hosting a walk for survivors, and auctioning items donated by Melissa Etheridge, Wynona Judd, Indigo Girls, Billie Jean King, and k. d. lang.

Proceeds will go to funding the Dr. Susan Love Foundation, which not only conducts its own research, but also awards grants supporting the work of others in eradicating breast cancer and other health issues relevant to women's bodies.

I wish all my vacations were as good for others as they are for me.
