Alison Flynn and her lover endured a 30 minute tuk-tuk (motorized rickshaw) trek down a dirt road to relish this lush slice of paradise. The area around the Kuang Si Waterfalls, just minutes from the ancient city of Luang Prabang, is perfect for hiking and wandering. "There are hiking rewards," says Flynn, "a blue lagoon at the top of the waterfalls provides a cool respite from the heat."
